Reboot A Polycom Phone Using Special Keys
Learn how to reboot a Polycom phone in this quick guide. It’s easy to do and a sometime necessary step when troubleshooting your phone. We’ve included info for both the soft keys and hard keys on various Polycom models.
To reboot your Polycom phone using special keys, follow the following process;
Press the menu button and select Settings.
Select Advanced.
Enter password 456. Select the Enter soft key.
Select Reboot Phone.
How To Reboot A Polycom SoundPoint 430 – 550 – 650 Phone
To reboot the Polycom SoundPoint IP 430, 550 or the Polycom SoundPoint IP 650 phone, press the following keys all at the same time as shown in the diagram;
- Volume up.
- Volume down.
- Menu button.
- Messages button.
Hold all buttons down for 10 seconds. This will make a loud sound, then will begin the rebooting process.
To reboot the Polycom SoundPoint IP 430 phone, press the following keys all at the same time as shown in the diagram;
- Volume up.
- Volume down.
- Menu button.
- Messages button.
Hold the buttons down for 10 seconds. This will make a loud sound, then will begin the phone rebooting process.
